Limited Registration online application project

We are making it easier to apply for Limited Registration

From 25 May 2026 employers can simply go to the new “Limited Registration” tab in the Teacher Registration Information (Professional) portal (TRIP) to complete all Limited Registration applications.

Teachers will complete their requirements through Teacher Login and employers will have full visibility of their progress in completing their part of the application.

This short video illustrates the simple process used by employers to apply for Limited Registration online.

Paper-based Limited Registration applications will be accepted for a transitional period, but we encourage all employers to make the transition as soon as possible. The online Limited Registration process will make applications simpler and easier for employers and for teachers.
